- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1–2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
- Cream Butter & Sugars – In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs & Vanilla – Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients – Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in Oats, Rice Krispies & Chocolate Chips – Carefully mix in the oats, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips without overmixing.
- Scoop & Bake – Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool & Enjoy – Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack. Enjoy!

- For extra crispiness, bake for an additional minute or two.
- Want chewier cookies? Use an extra egg yolk for a softer texture.
