Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 12 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugars – In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Eggs & Vanilla – Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  5. Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients – Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in Oats, Rice Krispies & Chocolate Chips – Carefully mix in the oats, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips without overmixing.
  7. Scoop & Bake – Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool & Enjoy – Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack. Enjoy!
