Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe banana
- 120 grams creamy peanut butter (1/2 cup)
- 50 grams cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 15 cm x 15 cm (7 inch x 7 inch) brownie pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth. Once mashed, add peanut butter and mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, stir, and then transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake the Banana Brownies in the preheated oven for 22 to 30 minutes (mine took 27 minutes). Allow the brownies to cool completely at room temperature before slicing.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness of the brownies by adding chocolate chips or a pinch of salt.
- For nut-free brownies, swap peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or tahini.
- These brownies can also be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
